J OB DESCRIPTION
Our client is actively searching for a Full Time Lecturer (Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence) The responsibilities of this role are:
Teach academic programmes ranging from Certificate to Postgraduate level, including lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions.
Undertake Programme Leader and Module Leader responsibilities across assigned programmes.
Set and mark coursework and examinations, and conduct internal moderation in accordance with course requirements and university partner standards.
Design, develop and regularly review curriculum, course materials and blended learning resources.
Support or lead the development of new programmes and prepare documentation required for programme approval.
Provide academic consultation and advise students on academic performance, career opportunities and further studies.
Monitor student performance, provide learning support and contribute to student development activities.
Review student feedback and facilitate student focus groups or Student-Staff Liaison meetings.
Manage teaching assignments for Associate Lecturers and support effective planning of teaching loads and schedules.
Contribute to student recruitment and retention initiatives, school events, marketing activities, seminars and workshops.
Attend departmental and programme meetings and contribute to collaborative decision-making across teams.
Perform other administrative duties or projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
Minimum Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related specialisation; PhD preferred.
1 to 2 years of teaching experience. Candidates with strong tutorial delivery skills may also be considered.
Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in developing and managing academic programmes and/or setting up laboratories.
Willing to teach both full-time and part-time classes.
