Our client is actively searching for a Manager/ Senior Manager, Advancement (Fundraising & Partnerships) to join their team!
If you are a dynamic individual seeking a new career opportunity, read further!The role supports the College’s advancement and fundraising initiatives by strengthening engagement with alumni, industry partners, and supporters of the College. Working closely with the Dean’s Office, Schools, and the University Advancement Office, the incumbent will help develop opportunities for philanthropic support and partnerships aligned with the College’s priorities in education, research, and innovation. The responsibilities of this role are:
Support the development and implementation of advancement and fundraising initiatives aligned with the College’s strategic priorities.
Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective donors, including alumni, industry partners, and philanthropic foundations.
Support donor engagement activities related to scholarships, professorships, and other strategic programmes within the College.
Work closely with the University Advancement Office to coordinate fundraising initiatives and ensure alignment with university-wide advancement efforts.
Support the development of partnerships with industry and external stakeholders to advance the College’s strategic initiatives.
Assist in organising engagement activities and events to strengthen relationships with alumni, donors, and partners.
Prepare donor proposals, briefing materials, reports, and engagement plans for the Dean’s Office and senior leadership.
Support special projects and strategic initiatives led by the Dean’s Office
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
A master’s degree in business, Communications, Public Policy, Engineering, or related disciplines will be advantageous.
At least 5–8 years of relevant experience in fundraising, partnerships, stakeholder engagement, business development, or related fields.
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and external partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop proposals and engagement materials.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, strategic initiatives, or development roles in corporate, public sector, higher education, or non-profit environments will be advantageous.
