  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for an Assistant Director, Human Resources to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Partner senior leadership to drive regional HR strategy and organisational effectiveness.
• Provide strategic HR advisory support across workforce planning, organisational development, and people-related matters.
• Oversee manpower planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies to ensure sustainable workforce capability.
• Lead performance management, talent development, and succession planning initiatives across the region.
• Foster a positive and inclusive employee experience, overseeing engagement and employee relations matters.
• Provide oversight of compensation and benefits frameworks to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee payroll management and statutory compliance across relevant markets.
• Ensure strong HR governance through effective policies, processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide oversight of HR operations, systems management, and data-driven workforce planning.
• Lead regional budgeting and workforce cost management.
• Oversee vendor management and workplace administration functions.
• Support corporate initiatives relating to workplace safety, inclusion, and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Demonstrated success in senior-level HR business partnering within a multinational environment.
• Broad and deep expertise across core HR disciplines including workforce planning, employee relations, reward strategy, performance management, and governance.
• Experience supporting multi-country operations with understanding of varying employment frameworks across Asia.
• Proven ability to lead and develop HR teams while balancing strategic priorities with operational oversight.
