Our client is actively searching for a Senior Supplier Quality Manager to join their team!

Supplier selection - Collaborate with the Supplier Sourcing team to evaluate potential suppliers and ensure the suppliers meet quality requirements, including conducting supplier audits and assessing their quality system effectiveness.
Supplier quality development: Collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions and preventive actions.
Developing and maintaining supplier quality agreements or contracts.
Develop and implement comprehensive supplier quality program, to ensure consistency and alignment with Company's standards and requirements.
Performance monitoring: Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations of suppliers to ensure they meet established quality metrics, including but not limited to On-time delivery, Product conformity and compliance to control requirements to insure always predictable quality.
Risk assessment: Identify potential risks associated with supplier and their products and develop strategies to eliminate them, include conducting risk assessments and implementing contingency plans to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.
Continuous improvement: Drive continuous improvement with suppliers by identifying opportunities for supplier quality improvement and working with suppliers to implement necessary changes.
Cross-functional collaboration: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, production, and quality assurance teams, to ensure alignment and coordination in solving supplier quality issues.
Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation of supplier quality evaluations, audits, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement.
Supplier Quality Engineering team build up: Develop Supplier Quality Engineering team member capability on quality engineering and supplier quality management skill.
Develop Leading Key Performance Indicators with Suppliers to ensure Suppliers parts always achieved required performance quality with Zero incoming defects consistently (in-line with Automotive Standards)
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
Ability to identify risks related to supplier quality and develop mitigation strategies, including conducting risk assessments and establishing contingency plans.
Capable of ensuring that all supplier-fabricated parts meet quality standards.
Experienced in managing frequent design Engineering Change Order updates, Engineering Application, Process implementation, and balancing quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF16949 standards and tools such as DFMEA, FMEA, MSA, SPC, AQPQ, and PPAP.
Familiar with and able to apply Attribute Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (AR&R) methods and Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) at supplier quality audits to ensure all measurement equipment are FIT for use per Automotive Measurement System Analyses Clause.
Proficient in calculating and interpreting Attribute and Quantitative Data – for example but not limited to Cpk vs Cp, R square.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to use quality tools like Fault Tree
Analyses, Paynter Chart.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to ensure zero non-conformance at the supplier level before IQA inspection
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good understanding of precision metal fabrication, machining, wire cut, EDM die casting and secondary processes including powder coating, anodizing, plating, passivation etc.
Minimum 10+years supplier quality management experience within a manufacturing or production environment and in experience of PCBA. Candidate with Electrical Electronic background has advantage.
Fluent in English
Bachelor's degree, major in engineering, mechanical, electronic or supply chain management related.
