Our client is actively searching for a Manager, Centre for Healthcare Innovation to join their team!

Reporting to the Director, the Manager / Assistant Manager will build synergy as one CHI team - collaborate closely with and leverage the collective expertise, capabilities, and resources of complementary units within CAPE, CANS and CHA and the network of CHI’s industry partners. He/she must be able to lead and build synergy as a CHI team member – be a positive, proactive and responsible team player and collaborate closely with teams within NHG, CHI and the collaborating centres.
To co-lead the development and execution of an innovation roadmap / framework with the Directors of CHA, CAPE and CANS in the area of workforce transformation. To synthesise new and existing knowledge management platforms and tools and develop practical solutions for delivery of better care models. This includes prioritisation of workplans, mapping professional and community resources and building the right environment for the three collaborating centres to drive innovation adoption and knowledge translation across different spectrum of the health and social ecosystem.
To promote a culture of innovation by creating thought leadership opportunities and focused partnerships by leveraging the expertise, resources and networks of CHI’s offices, centres and academies, and NHG Population Health Campus’ strategic partner networks. Map professional and community assets to deepen the relationship and networks to facilitate and support meaningful knowledge exchange. Participate in collective leadership discussions by engaging senior management and partners in driving change at the care, population health systems and ecosystem levels.
To catalyse value-based outcomes and exchange of knowledge at professional co-learning platforms, involving the providers and users of the health and social care systems. To support and drive meaningful initiatives with a direct impact on patient care and population health such as improvements in health literacy and behavioural health outcomes.
To lead the development and curation of community enabling and patient education programmes, training curriculum and learning and assessment tools to meet the needs and to build capabilities of volunteers, caregivers, residents and healthcare professionals (allied health professionals, pharmacists and nurses). This includes curriculum development, programme evaluation, continuous up-skilling of volunteer carers with the necessary knowledge and tools to equip them for leadership positions in co-creation of programmes, and integration of carers in NHG’s caring communities’ network.
To provide a conducive environment where healthcare professionals (allied health professionals, pharmacists and nurses) and social care professionals can co-learn and co-design new healthcare innovations with the users of the healthcare system i.e. patients, advocates, volunteers and caregivers. This highlights the importance of integrating patient voices as part of the innovation cycle. It is a platform for advancing an organisational culture of delivering human-centred care and is purposefully organised and executed to engage formal workforce, informal community champions / leaders and users of the healthcare system with diverse experiences and perspectives in the change effort.
To leverage professional expertise of the allied health professionals, pharmacists and nurses and adopt appropriate research tools and health behavioural research methodologies are used to measure the impact of professional and non-professional interventions on patients’ health behavioural outcomes. Build and sustain partnerships with relevant research institutes, academia, community partners, social service agencies and healthcare teams to widen the research impact.
To lead the secretariat team for the quarterly Coordinating Centre Meetings (CCMs) and provide timely progress reports to ED of CHI and keep track of the workplans, timelines and major project milestones.
To identify and leverage potential funding programmes and partners as seed funding for implementation of pilot health literacy programmes under the auspice of NHG, CHI and CHA.
To lead and implement large scale community and professional networking events and festivals within set budgets, standard operating protocols, funding mechanisms and pre-defined timelines.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
Degree in business, communications, social sciences, behavioral science, psychology, social anthropology or a related field will be an advantage
At least 5 or more years of experience in a managerial role in the healthcare, social care and/or the government sector.
Candidate must have experience in leading teams and operating in a matrix reporting environment.
A critical and strategic thinker with the ability to lead and influence behaviours to get work done with measurable outcomes
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines and manage projects independently with minimal supervision
Strong organisational and project management skills, with a keen eye for details
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
An agile team player with excellent people skills with a positive, upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
Highly resourceful in problem solving and resilient in overcoming challenges independently
Experience in large-scale event management
Strong work ethics with superior professionalism, leadership skills and ability to make sound judgment
