Our client is actively searching for a Governance Risk and Compliance Specilaist to join their team!

Assist and maintain governance frameworks to align with organisational objectives and regulatory requirements.
Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures to reflect changes in laws, regulations, and best practices.
Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organisation.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring effective risk controls.
Monitor and report on risk management activities, providing recommendations for improvement
Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry standards, such as Cyber Trust Mark (“CTM”), ISO 27001, etc.
Lead and coordinate efforts to obtain and maintain the certifications.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet certification requirements.
Manage and document processes related to the certifications.
Facilitate communication and coordination between departments for effective GRC implementation.
Organise and lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to standards.
Serve as the point of contact for standard-related inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
Diploma or higher qualification in a related field (e.g., Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Compliance).
1 to 2 years of experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) roles.
Experience with the CTM or similar certification processes.
Coordination experience, with proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
Additional experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, or related GRC areas (added advantage).
Strong understanding of governance frameworks, risk management principles, and compliance requirements.
Good organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Proficiency in GRC tools and software (advantageous).
