  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a IT Change Specialist or Manager to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Lead the people side of change initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, in tandem with project/programme manager, and be responsible for the implementation of the change.
  • As the counterpart of the project manager, play a pivotal role in executing change strategies, embedding new processes, and enhancing employee engagement to achieve seamless transitions and improved performance.
  • Responsible for leading all IT change initiatives.
  • Design and prepare change management plans and ensure delivery drives successful adoption of new processes or technologies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans.
  • Lead the generation and implementation of change communications and activities.
  • Design and deliver training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed for successful change adoption.
  • Foster a positive change culture by promoting awareness and understanding of the benefits associated with the proposed changes, addressing questions and concerns related to change initiatives.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders at various levels to build support for change initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers in their roles as change sponsors.
  • Enable regular communication sessions to keep stakeholders informed and address concerns.
  • Be an active part of Group Change Coach Network to contribute to and collaborate with them and adhere to their standards.
  • Work with external vendors to delivery change-related projects and initiatives
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from employees and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of change strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT programme and project managers on change initiatives.
  • Identify and collaborate with key stakeholders in those projects to enable them to build change readiness.
     

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Qualified to Degree Level in a STEM or business-related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Able to work under own initiative with limited guidance in areas of own knowledge and pro-actively search out information where own knowledge is limited to provide a solution.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Demonstrate ability to work to multiple deadlines whilst maintaining professional and positive image to business.
  • Promote, through example, good ethical values and cultural sensitivity, especially when dealing with colleagues and users in / from other global locations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in Change Management e.g. PROSCI. will be an advantage.
  • Possess a minimum of three years working in inter team communication/ liaison role with other departments or external partners.
  • Experience of working in an IT department, had delivered change initiatives related to cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and technology generally.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
