JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Junior Sous Chef to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:

Plan daily menus, manage dietary requirements, purchase ingredients and prepare excellent cuisine for various events.
Ensure high standard of hygiene in food preparation and cleanliness of the kitchen.
Collaborate with butler teams as well as external caterers to ensure F&B is delivered efficiently at functions.
Arrange for equipment maintenance periodically.
Handle administrative work such as preparing claims for purchases, marketing logs and costing for menus.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

Able to prepare different types of cuisine, including local and western cuisine.
Passionate about culinary arts.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in Food and Beverage Service.
Selected candidates will be offered a contract of 1 or 2 years in the first instance.
