They serves Singapore citizens and permanent residents of all age groups who must be certified with low vision (partial sight) or blind by an eye specialist or ophthalmologist.

JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Occupational Therapist to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:
1. To develop and implement training programme for Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
2. Provide rehabilitative services for clients in areas of ADLs, work and leisure
3. Liaise and network with agencies and professionals for referrals and follow up services
4. Provide caregiver's training, where necessary
5. Work closely with other professionals to plan and implement rehabilitation for clients
6. Provide talks on sighted guide techniques to external agencies / organisations
7. Host visits by external agencies / individuals to Hospital
8. Supervise Orientation & Mobility Instructors and other Support Officers
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

1. Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy from an institution recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council
2. Registered with Singapore's Allied Health Professions Council
3. Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably working with persons with visually impairment.
