Our client is actively searching for a Occupational Therapist to join their team!

1. Provides Occupational Therapy services for students/clients/residents belonging to varied age groups
2. Administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student's/client's/resident's level of functioning in areas such as fine/gross motor skill development, sensory motor integration, self-care and activities of daily living
3. Structure therapy goals based on the student's/client's/resident's need and synchronised with the school curriculum
4. Writes individual student/client/resident goals and objectives as part of the IEP and maintains progress reports for students under his/her caseload
5. Participates in Case Management Team (CMT) meetings and IEP meetings; articulates precisely and clearly the student's difficulties and possible supports/solutions to the difficulties
6. Provides treatment plans based on educational goals for students to improve the student's functional abilities within the school and in community settings
7. Manage therapy programs and consults with teachers/coaches/care staff regarding inclusion of appropriate occupational therapy treatment strategies in the classroom/home
8. Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to support the occupational performance (self care, school-based learning and recreational engagement) of students/clients/residents
9. Provide therapy sessions in combination of 1 -1 and group format; provides push-in & pull-out services for students/clients/residents based on their needs
10. Sustain/ develop centre-wide programs which benefit students in their occupational performance.The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
1. Possess at least a Diploma in Occupational Therapy from an accredited polytechnic or university.
