Our client is actively searching for a (Senior) Speech Therapist - Paediatrics to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:
1.  Assess and manage patients referred for speech therapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.
2.  Comply with clinical and service standards.
3.  Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
4.  Contribute to related clinical research projects.
5.  Assist in the supervision of speech therapists in the workgroup. (Senior Speech Therapist)
6.  Assist in the monitoring of key performance indicators of the workgroup. (Senior Speech Therapist)
7.  Assist in the development and co-ordination of clinical education programmes for speech therapy students. (Senior Speech Therapist)
8.  Contribute to departmental in-service training programmes, hospital educational talks and external talks / workshops / forums / seminars. (Senior Speech Therapist)
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
1.  Recognised degree in Speech Therapy and eligible for full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
2.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills
3.  Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
4.  Patient-centredness
5.  Positive and collaborative team member
6.  Competent in IT (Microsoft Excel / Word / Powerpoint)
7.  Prior experience in both paediatric feeding and communication disorders is preferred
8.  Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree with 1 year experience
