  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Psychologist (Contract), Paediatrics (Educational) to join their team!

The responsibilities of this role are:
The Educational Psychologist is required to provide psychometric assessments and intervention programmes for outpatients within the Hospital – National University Children’s Medical Institute (KTP-NUCMI). There will be opportunities to work with children and teenagers (7-19 years old) with medical and/or developmental concerns. The Educational Psychologist works under the supervision of a Senior Educational Psychologist.

Primary Responsibilities
1. To conduct appropriate psychometric assessments and provide interpretation of results for patients with medical and/or developmental concerns.
2.  To develop and implement appropriate intervention programmes for patients with medical and/or developmental concerns.
3.  To contribute, as part of a multidisciplinary team, in the overall care plan for the patient.
4.  For the Senior Psychologist, to initiate and implement new psychological services with guidance from the Head of Division.

Secodary Responsibilities
1. To assist in the development of materials for teaching and training.
2.  Provide in-service training for department staff as needed.
3.  Assist senior team members in the provision of specialized teaching and supervision of interns.
4.  To contribute to team level operational tasks.
5.  To participate in research projects as a member of the research team, as appropriate.
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
1. Master of Psychology, with specialization in Educational or School Psychology, from an accredited university.
2.  Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized psychological professional body.
3.  Entry level Master graduates with relevant work/internship experience prior to/during Masters training. 
4.  At least 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
5.  Applicants with clinical training in conducting assessments and/or providing therapy to children and adolescent up to the age of 19.
6.  A team player who is motivated to provide a high standard of patient care and also able to work independently.
7.  Good interpersonal skills.
