Our client is actively searching for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team!
The responsibilities of this role:
To assist Project manager in overseeing site installation works, supervision of sub-contractors and attending site meetings with consultant, owner and Architect.
Assist Project Manager to evaluate and select competent suppliers and sub-contractors for the installation and maintenance works.
Assist Project Manager to check and evaluating the progress claims submitted by the sub-contractors on the work done in terms of quantities and quality.
Supervise all works performed by subcontractors at site to ensure that quality works are produced and meet client’s requirement.
Assist Project Manager to oversee the implementation of the Quality Plan.
Assist Project Manager to resolve problem with client after project hand over.
Maintain all quality and safety records.
Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience in construction
Awareness of Integrated ISO QMS
Able to work in a stressful & fast paced environment.
Experience in Pharma or Oil and Gas environment will have an advantage.
