Job Purpose:
Support Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI) in student admissions and implementation of educational activities and processes.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Support Admissions processes including offer and acceptance
  • Support student's visa application / cancellation / renewal processes via SOLAR+
  • Support implementation of DBMI degree education and courses including administrative, curriculum and logistics support for lessons and assessments
  • Supervise and guide student assistants for online weekend and weeknight lessons
  • Manage email box queries for admissions, curriculum and student fee-related matters
  • Support in company and student internship queries and applications
  • Support in department outreach events and programmes

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Degree holder with at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in school programme administration and customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Meticulous, self-initiated, well-organised and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of staff as well as students.
  • Positive attitude and able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
