Our client is actively searching for a Workshop Service Technician to join their team!The responsibilities of this role are:
Repair and overhaul of high-tech precision vacuum pumps at component level
Read assembly drawings for servicing and overhaul operations
Align or position components required for assembly by manual placement or using hoist
Appraise and troubleshoot on mechanical and/or electronic products
Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested
Repair, rework or replace any damaged parts or assemblies
Use measuring instruments, such as gauges, calipers or micrometers to verify conformance of parts in accordance with repair specification
Ensure proper documentation of service reports and other records
Perform daily Hands-on workshop activities as required
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
ITC/NTC/Diploma qualification in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, preferably with 1-2 years of Assembly experience in mechanical repairs
Hands-on individual that enjoys dismantling and rebuilding engineering products that are manufactured to the highest standard
Effective communication skill, analytical and judgmental skills
High level of integrity, discipline and self-motivated
Willing to learn new skill and new methodology
Experience reading assembly drawings
Able to work independently and in teams
Perform and deliver under pressure with tight deadlines when necessary
Ability to perform physical functions to include lifting (5-20 kg)
Availability to work 5-15 hours of overtime per week
