  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Infrastructure Planning Manager (Stationed in Cambodia) to join their team!

An infrastructure Planning manager is responsible for managing the project’s schedule and plan, ensuring it adheres as close to the project baseline in the case of linear infrastructure construction projects, Also there involves creating the plan and schedule, optimizing it for maximum output, mitigating variables and risks caused by both internal & external challenges, ensuring the plan stays updated and communicating project updates to stakeholders and field staff etc.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Provide planning, design, implementation, coordination, administration and develop detailed design work across a range of infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare scope of work, subcontracts, and customer proposals including Tender preparation, submission and Tender Clarification follow up for Infrastructure works.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets for Infrastructure works including equipment selection, project resources and etc.
  • Participate in engineering process to control cost and client budget requirements of project.
  • Project management, relationship management and hands-on technical design responsibilities.
  • Develop Infrastructure works’ project schedule and monitor/update as project progresses.
  • Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation (i.e. shop drawings).
  • Provide specific expertise for problem solving of Infrastructure issues.
  • Provide technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals.
  • Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth completion of the project.
  • Lead and supervise tendering procedures and putting together proposals.
  • Meeting project timelines and ensuring success of projects.
  • Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues and architects, engineers, contracting civil engineers, consultants, co-workers and clients.
  • Resolving design and development problems.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly progress claim.
  • Adopting all relevant requirements in maintaining rules and regulation, assessing the potential risks of specific projects, as well as undertaking risk management in specialist roles.
  • Overseeing the work of junior staff or mentoring infrastructural engineers.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Infrastructure Strategy/Planning, Engineering, or related professional field
  • Min 5 years in real estate, urban, infrastructure planning, consulting, or developer experience.
  • Demonstrated competencies in risk assessment, design development, scheduling, cost estimating, technical specifications and H&S systems
  • Excellent technical drawing skills.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Newforma, etc.
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.
  • Strong creative and visualization skills.
