The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Partner with internal teams to conceptualise, design and maintain visually friendly dashboards that provide metrics to support forward-looking decision-making based on data. This will include leveraging on large and complex data sources and presentation of findings to key executives.
  • Partner with internal teams, developers and strategy partners to review data sets and detect, diagnose and repair data quality errors. The incumbent is expected to identify and design process improvements to prevent future data quality errors.
  • Partner with developers and internal teams to improve data coverage and analytic capabilities.
  • Partner with data engineers to review current database systems and assist with its further development, construction, maintenance and architecture. This may involve the identification, design and implementation of internal process improvements (i.e. optimizing data delivery for greater scalability)
  • Conduct market research, perform data analysis and draw conclusions that contribute to strategy related matters.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Strong data organisation, communication and administrative skills.
  • Prior experience with working with relational databases and an understanding of information technology, telecommunications products, programs, tools, and processes are advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in program management (e.g. trend and forecast analysis, cost benefit analysis, balanced scorecard) will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data manipulation and analytics within an academic or healthcare setting is preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability with working within a small group and as part of a large team.
  • A keen eye for detail and bandwidth to keep track of and monitor progress of a wide range of issues.
  • Possess initiative and the ability to work under pressure/tight deadlines.
  • A strong written and oral communicator.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to operate effectively within a diverse group of internal and external colleagues and stakeholders.
