The Specialist assists the HQ Information Management team in supporting the taskforces in the execution of the implementation of Data Analytics Infrastructure (DAI) roadmap across the cluster

He/she plays a role as Data Architect in supporting the development of the DAI in the areas of constructing a common data model, establishing entity metadata catalogue, and map to information entities that can define how information should flow and be consumed by various business users.

He/she will be involved in the design of the data structure, integrate and maintain data in the enterprise for accuracy and consistency of use. In additions, he/she will support in the analyzing and identify quality data gaps, implementing metrics to track data quality for improvements over time.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Provide technical and data leadership and guidance to these assigned tasks
• Work closely with project managers, data technical staff, applications development, vendors and the data owners/subject matter experts from the businesses for the specific needs of the projects assigned
• Participate in the constructing of a common data model and data dictionary
• Establish entity metadata catalogue
• Map to information entities that can define how information should flow and be consumed by various business users.
• Design of the data structure, integrate and maintain data in the enterprise for accuracy and consistency of use
• Support in the analyzing and identifying of quality data gaps
• Implementing metrics to track data quality for improvements over time 100% Produce One Logical Common Data Model and One Common Data Dictionary
• Produce centralized metadata model
• Setting up content of Metadata catalogue

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• The individual must have past experience (10 years and above) in supporting large programs/projects in a similar capacity
• Bachelor's Degree required with at least 10 years of working experience
• Solid and sound knowledge in the following areas: 
  • Data analytics projects
  • Data modelling
  • Data engineering
  • Data analysis
  • Data standardization and harmonization

• Ability to handle and manage stressful situations; is creative and self-motivated.
• Able to operate independently
• Demonstrates ability to organize, coordinate, and execute on detail

• Strong data analytical, data profiling and data quality troubleshooting skills
