  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Senior Assistant Manager, Advancement & Alumni (Fund-raising) to join their team!

Reporting to Director, Advancement & Alumni, the Senior Assistant Manager will conceptualise and drive effective fundraising strategies, develop gift opportunities, grow and managing a portfolio of prospective and existing donors, and build strong and donor-centric philanthropic relationships for the University in support of its vision and mission.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Conceptualise and drive effective fundraising strategies
  • Research, identify, cultivate new donors; grow donor pipeline to secure new gifts in support of the University's vision and mission.
  • Also responsible for: drafting proposals, preparing presentations and other fundraising materials, as well as preparing accurate gift acceptance documents.
  • Steward, maintain and strengthen and the University's relationships with its prospective and existing donors through proactive participation in:
     
    • Timely and effective communication with donors and possible donors, including appreciation letters
    • Strategically planned and organised appreciation and recognition events to continually engage donors
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders – including faculty, staff and students – to obtain their support through the fundraising process while managing expectations and relationships.
  • Perform other duties in support of the Advancement & Alumni Division as required.

     

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • A good university degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in higher education sector.
  • An excellent track record in fundraising, preferably in university advancement, and good networking with industries
  • Highly motivated and responsible self-starter who can operate with a high degree of independence
  • Great interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong analytical, marketing skills 
  • excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)

  SALARY S$4,500.00 - S$5,000.00 per Month
