  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client, a leading education institute, is searching for a Senior Associate (Payroll) to join their team.
This role is a constructive step forward for anyone looking for excitement and challenges at work.

The responsibilities of this role encompasses:
  • Perform the full spectrum of payroll activities including bi-monthly payroll processing, payroll reconciliation, giro upload, CPF and income tax submission for local and foreign staff.
  • Monthly General Ledger (GL) reconciliation, GL interface and manual reclass and posting of payroll adjustments.
  • Prepare monthly reports, billings and claim documents.
  • Prepare documents and liaise with both internal and external auditors on payroll audit on a monthly basis.
  • Generate cost simulations for manpower placement, taxation and budget purposes.
  • Liaise with payroll vendor on system upgrades and rectify any system issues.
  • Respond to employees’ queries and provide support to respective departments on all payroll related matters
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience: 
  • Min Degree in Business, preferably in Human Resource or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of payroll experience. Experience with Peoplesoft will be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act, CPF and Income Tax legislation and financial double entry.
  • Possess good interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Able to multi-task, well organised, independent and work under tight deadlines. Overtime may be expected at times
  • Manual work is expected and high level of good accuracy is necessary.
  • Maintain strictest confidentiality on all human resource matters.
  • Good MS Office skills (Excel, Words)

  SALARY S$3,800.00 - S$4,500.00 per Month
