Job Purpose :

HR Business Partner (Staff HR),   plays an important role in providing strategic, operational and advisory support to the full spectrum of HR functions in the College, and function as the subject matter expert in talent management and acquisition to the Departments. In support of the College’s effort to streamline our HR  processes and enhance employee experience, the incumbent will also be expected to lead and drive projects that are related to his/her area of responsibilities and expertise as assigned
 
The responsibilities of this role are:

HR Business Partnering
  • Serve as a Business partner to various Heads of Department to drive a culture that is aligned  with the College’s overall strategic objectives and organisational core values and HR policies through effective people management practices, including talent management, performance management, and training and development administration.
  • Lead and manage the full talent acquisition life-cycle for the assigned Departments and employee segment, delivering an outstanding employee experience, ensuring high engagement and communication from first outreach to new hire on boarding and orientation.
  • Advise  line managers and search committees on position descriptions, advertising, candidate sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, selection, and other related search processes
  • Advise  line managers on local employment act, work pass issuance, on boarding and relocation processes
  • Lead as the Centre of Expertise for the College’s Staff HR operations,  processes and policies
  • Lead the tracking, monitoring and analysis of Staff HR data analytics and drive continuous improvement across the Staff Employee Life-Cycle
  • Lead and drive Organisation Development initiatives as assigned

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • ?
  • Bachelor Degree.
  • Min. 5 years of experience in a HRBP and/or talent acquisition role.
  • Working experience in institutions of higher learning would be advantageous.
  • Working experience with Success Factors would be advantageous.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Detail oriented
