  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Manager, Exams (Registrar Office) to join their team!

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Registrar’s Office, the successful candidate is responsible for the implementation of all exam related matters, including the planning and conduct of exams, checking and updating exam results to ensure the accuracy of the students’ academic records.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure the smooth running of the full spectrum of pre- and post-exam operations
  • Develop procedures, policies and guidelines in all exams related matters; such as exam venue, printing of exam question papers, arrangement for students with special needs, marks processing, Board of Examiners meetings, release and review of exam results
  • Ensure proper record keeping of the processes and reports of students
  • Manage students’ results requests from other divisions and external parties
  • Liaise with other divisions to ensure that operational processes for exam are managed effectively and timely
  • Liaise and coordinate with overseas partner universities on academic and exam rules and regulations to be implemented for Joint degree programmes
  • Manage exam projects such as e-assessment, automation of exam processes, etc
  • Involve in campus solution system enhancements and data verification when required
  • Brief and support faculty on marks entry processes in campus solution system
  • Support the checking of exam results, ensure accurate information is updated in the system and prepare exam reports
  • Attend to any other administrative work or ad-hoc duties where needed

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • A recognised degree
  • Relevant work experience in an educational environment or Registrar’s Office work
  • Experience in using Oracle PeopleSoft will be an advantage
  • Good with numbers, meticulous and able to work within tight deadlines
  • Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
