  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Clinical Psychologist/ Counsellor to join their team!

The Counselling Centre in the College develops and delivers a range of counselling services and mental health programs and activities that will support the students to thrive and flourish in their time at the college.
The Clinical Psychologist/Counsellor will provide counselling support to students. The Clinical Psychologist/Counsellor will work closely with various stakeholders (e.g. residential staff) to provide counselling, programs and talks promoting mental health, and crisis response.

The Clinical Psychologist/Counsellor will assist the Counselling Centre on matters pertaining to:
  • Provide individual, couple, and group counselling to students affected by personal/psychological issues
  • Be student safety-oriented and comply with evidence-based standards and ethical practice
  • Support the college in the event of a crisis e.g. psychological first-aid, crisis management and coordinate emergency response planning
  • Work closely with the Dean of Students and Assistant Deans in the monitoring of students who may have behavioural or psychological difficulties/issues
  • Liaise with various sections/departments of the college for students’ mental health/well-being
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Minimal of Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling, or related fields
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant clinical/ counselling experience. Those with related working experience in educational settings would be at an advantage
  • Registration/ certification/ accreditation with professional counselling/ psychology board in home country/ country of training is preferred
  • Keen interest in working with local and international undergraduate students
  • Ability to work independently within a clinical team
  • Experience developing and implementing programs
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cross-cultural settings

  SALARY S$4,800.00 - S$5,800.00 per Month
