  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Project Manager, Transformation, APAC to join their team! This role is responsible for projects across the Asia Pacific and will strive to coordinate and complete projects on time within the budget and scope, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize the progress of projects, and to prepare progress reports for the Asia Pacific management. The Project Manager will oversee a critical phase of business turnaround to ensure the area achieves short and long term company goals.

The accountabilities of this role are:
  • Developed a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Manage the relationship with the countries and all stakeholders
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Report progress and escalate to management as needed
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for flawless execution of projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Engineering Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent professional qualification in project management
  • 5 – 10 years of working experience in project management
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project Management Tools
  • Familiarity with developing and tracking budgets, process improvements, planning, and inventory control
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/related certification is a plus
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail & multitasking skills
  • Self starter with ability to work in teams & ensure deadlines are met in face of multiple priorities
  • Excellent client-management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, especially English
  • Travel requirements - 30%
