  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team! As an Assistant Finance Manager, you must work very closely with all departments in the Company. You are responsible for a variety of accounting and financial tasks in order to support the Finance Section. If you are a dynamic individual seeking a new career opportunity, read further!

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Assist the Finance Manager in the finance functions to ensure day-to-day operations of overall accounting and financial activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting and submission of monthly/periodic financial and management reports to Headquarter.
  • Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.
  • Preparation of annual budget and monthly forecast.
  • Liaise with the team member for ensuring proper recording of information and financial data.
  • Monthly audit and accounting schedule.
  • Assist in review cash flow management and internal control.
  • Manage inter-company loan and other related party transactions.
  • Assist in liaison with auditors for annual/ad-hoc audit (internal and external).
  • Liaise with tax consultants on all tax matters.
  • Support and resolve any finance issues from overseas branches and subsidiaries.
  • Performing other ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Bachelor in Accounting/Finance/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Possess at least 5 years’ relevant working experience in MNC.
  • Possess sound knowledge in Microsoft office especially Excel is added advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP FICO is a good advantage.
  • Must be able to work as a team with good EQ in managing internal/external customers.
