  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client, is a higher education institute, is searching for a Senior Executive (Corporate Services-Finance) to join their team. This role is a constructive step forward for anyone looking for excitement and challenges at work.

The Senior Executive is responsible to provide administrative support to the School’s research centres and assist on School level treasury and finance functions.

The responsibilities of this role encompasses:
  • Claims & Reimbursement from Funding Agencies [Research Centres]
    • Manage the claims submissions and reimbursement of research centres from funding agencies in accordance with funding agreements
    • Liaise with stakeholders in providing analysis to grantors and auditors
    • Oversee the audit of grants
  • Management Reporting and Balance Sheet Review [Research Centres]
    • Prepare monthly management report on research centres’ grant utilization
    • Conduct monthly and yearly review on the grants of research centres and provide updates to Financial Services (OFS)
    • Provide financial simulations to support management’s decision-making
  • Management Reporting [School-Level]
    • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly management reporting
  • Treasury [School-Level]
    • Assist in cash flow and liquidity management, which includes monitoring and preparing cash flow forecast to ensure availability of funds for investments
    • Assist in assessing availability of surplus funds for resources re-allocation or investment
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Supervisor

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience: 
  • Possess a Degree from a relevant discipline or an equivalent ACCA  
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of related experience in accounting field
  • Strong in multi-tasking and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous with high level of integrity
  • An independent worker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Resourceful, Self-motivated, confident and results-driven
  • Proven track records in engaging and managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Possess a good command of English (both written and oral)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge in SAP system is preferred
  • Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
