  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client, in the education industry, is currently looking for a HR Generalist to join their team! If you have 3 - 5 years of experience in the field of HR and has taken on job responsibilities as a Generalist, read on!

The responsibilities of the role:
  • Processing of monthly payroll and required submissions to the authorities (e.g. IRAS, CPF)
  • Be a business partner to the senior management and effective team player to the local HR team
  • Source and liaise with vendors with regard to staff welfare and day to day management of insurance program
  • In charge of administration and queries in terms of leave, medical claims, health insurance and dental benefits
  • Engage in performance appraisals, performance management, bonus and salary adjustments
  • Organizing of events to foster and boost employee relations
  • Address all HR needs from internal stakeholders
  • Maintain excellent employee engagement within the firm
  • Take charge of the company’s L&D plans and manage the employees’ training records
  • Participate in HR budgeting
  • Induct and administer a holistic on-boarding/off-boarding and orientation program for new employees
  • Familiar with all MOM regulations, work pass renewal, application and cancellation
  • Work closely with line managers to select and acquire talents for the firm
  • Manage the job posting process and background check processes for all new hires
  • Contribute and participate actively in salary surveys for internal salary benchmarking
  • Maintaining accuracy and timely updates of all employee personal data
  • Responsible for work pass applications, renewals and cancellations
  • Capability to analyze, write and churn HR reports based on data and numbers
  • Perform any administrative or support work that may come along as part of the job scope

What is required of the incumbent:
  • A minimum degree in Human Resource Management
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Proficient in IT and HRIS
  • Good written skills and numerical sense
  • Ability to communicate and express well
  • At least 3 to 5 years of HR generalist experience
  • Embrace strong work ethics, confidentiality, integrity and values
  • Self-motivated, driven and to work independently
  • A positive team player
  • Pay attention to details and be organized in terms of work plan
  • Capable of handling work stress and pressure and to deal with tight deadlines
