Competencies

Degree in logistics or international trade,Electronics industry  

Good written and communication skills in English and Mandarin (preferably)

Strong knowledge of international trade matters e.g. export controls, valuation

At least 2 years experience in trade compliance, international trade, logistics, freight forwarding or trade advisory services

Proactive team player and able to work in a fast pace environment

Meticulous with strong attention to details     

Some knowledge of Customs processes in Asia Pacific countries preferable

Well versed in customs regulatory requirements (overall in international trade)

Mainly in handling airfreight & ocean shipments (candidate with airfreight shipment only will be considered too)

Important to have knowledge of US and China import/export requirements

Good to have Asia Pacific customs exposure

Experienced in screening restricted party listing, free trade agreements, coordination of asia regional transportation damages/logistics issues and trouble shooting shipment errors

ResponsibiliTies

Provide functional and technical support for SCS Freight, Healthcare, Contract Logistics teams in region/countries

Support Global SP and SCS bundled and standalone Customs Brokerage bids

Provide technical Customs and Trade compliance support for Importer of Record /Exporter of Record due diligence screening 

Conduct procedural and compliance audits.

Support Corporate Customs & Trade Compliance teams on global programs.

Experience

At least 2 years experience in trade compliance, international trade, logistics, freight forwarding or trade advisory services

Salary

$5000 - $5500
