ResponsibiliTies

Reporting to the Vessel Controller, the Vessel Accountant is responsible for:

The full spectrum of accounting operations for 7-10 vessels, including but not limited to:

    Financial and Management reporting to vessel owners
    Cash Management
    Variance Analysis
    Financial and Management Audits
    Closing of 7-10 sets of books on a monthly basis with various month end deadlines
    Communication between various internal stakeholders as well as with customers

Experience

Minimum 4 years experience in managing full set accounting.
Experience in a related industry and exposure to Shipnet would be advantageous.
