  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is actively searching for a Strategic Project Manager to join their team!

The Strategic Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing strategic programs, projects, and initiatives within our client Platform. This role will operate under PMO structure, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects while aligning with organizational goals and objectives.

The responsibilities of this role are:
  • Manage and lead strategic programs, projects, or initiatives from initiation to completion within the domain of PMO Guideline.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, goals, and milestones, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
  • Utilize project management best practices and methodologies to drive successful project execution, monitoring progress, and mitigating risks.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, communicating project status, changes, and achievements effectively.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and dependencies, proactively addressing challenges to maintain project momentum.
  • Conduct thorough project evaluations and post-implementation reviews to assess project performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, contributing to the enhancement of project management methodologies and processes.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a must.
  • At least 4 years of diverse experience including minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in project management within the industrial engineering sector, overseeing complex projects or programs. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project) and familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Strong ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams towards project goals.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience and cultural understanding from having worked in or with multiple countries across the world.
  • Analytical skill with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making in challenging situations.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Open-minded and growth mindset, result-driven, hands-on, multi-tasking, self-starter and problem solver, self-learner, team leader and team player.
  • Sound business acumen.
