  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client, is searching for a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (APAC) to join their team. This role is a constructive step forward for anyone looking for excitement and challenges at work. 

Responsibilities
  • Lead KPI management in APAC region through effective understanding, analysis, and reporting of key metrics such as bookings, sales, gross margin, SG&A, operating profit, productivity, inflation, costs footprint and coordinates related activities, driving consistency to ensure actual results fall in line with the forecast.
  • Drive collaboration with local FP&A teams from the business units in APAC region and lead consolidation and analysis of APAC financial results. Establish as a single point of contact/ reference with IMI Critical Engineering Divisional Finance team.
  • Identify opportunities and drive process improvements such as report rationalization, the effective capture of financial data and efficient operating mechanisms in the business and region and better overall data quality.
  • Evaluate current financial process, roll up, policies and proposed ideas, plans and policies to recommend changes that will impact better governance and management of region financials and profitability.
  • Develop proper working relationship with FP&A team in the business to proactively understand opportunities, drive business objectives and address risks, manage monthly/quarterly phasing of financial deliverables including but not limited to bookings, sales, operating profit.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation and analysis of APAC management reports.
  • Ensuring on time report consolidation at APAC level for Critical Engineering.
  • Regular communication with local FP&A team relating to monthly book closure, issues and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing finance and business presentations; related supporting materials.
  • Communication with Divisional and local FP&A team to ensure compliance with information requests and reporting standards.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
  • Reporting deadlines met (Finance Core process calendar).
  • Supporting the businesses in all compliance targets.
This position will report to Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, APAC.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, 4 - 7 years of relevant accounting and work experience
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and IFRS requirements.
  • Meticulous with an eye for details in the analysis process 
  • Business partnering mindset 
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Organised, flexible and easily adaptable to changing condition
  • Ability to work well in high-pressure situations in order to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous competing priorities
  • Experience of ERP (preferably IFS) systems, reporting and consolidation tools (COGNOS) and advanced spreadsheet (Excel) skills
  • Clear thinker and able to stand on one-self to understand the problem at hands.
  • Ability to own and drive with minimal supervision and limited resources
  • High proficiency in oral and written communication with excellent presentation skills.
  • Focus in getting execution to identified solutions and stakeholders.
