  JOB DESCRIPTION Our client, a specialist provider of solutions in medicial devices, is searching for a Integrated Marketing Communications Manager (APAC) to join their team. This role is a constructive step forward for anyone looking for excitement and challenges at work.

Primary Position Objective
To serve as day-to-day Marketing Communications program manager for the APAC region, ensuring and end-to-end perspective is maintained across the APAC regional requirements pertaining to the various functions which include Technical Communications, Integrated Marketing Communications and Digital Marketing.

Job Environment
The Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Manager role based in Singapore, functions as an extension of the Global Marketing Communications team. In partnership with the Snr IMC Managers assigned to the APAC region), this person will act as a servicing and delivery lead to regional and country stakeholders, ensuring that local marketing and comms plans, tactics and materials are in sync with global brand strategies, positioning, and messaging.
The IMC Manager APAC is a point person for assigned projects, and is accountable for ensuring the delivery of on-time and on-budget programs for strategic initiatives, new product launches and ongoing communications support of company products already in market. This person will service these projects through to successful delivery by working closely with the Sydney-based Marketing Communications team as well as regional and local country colleagues.
The IMC Manager APAC must demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of company commercial business with a particular understanding of the APAC region and digital channels. Moreover, the IMC Manager APAC will be able to identify synergies and drive best practice across markets while also looking for marketing campaign improvement and optimisation opportunities.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Support the Senior IMC Manager and Regional product managers in developing strategies and programs that build the relevance and value of company solutions in the APAC region.
  • Establish and maintain an end-to-end project view,coupled with regional commercial knowledge to confidently prioritise amongst competing priorities and ultimately deliver programs that support the business needs.
  • Manage projects within budget from concept to production.
  • Follow-up tasks, issues and people to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Manage changes to projects, informing stakeholders (within the department and regionally as appropriate), negotiating positive outcomes when possible.
  • Provide regular communication of project status to business and departmental stakeholders.
  • Ensure that projects are run in line with company quality system.
  • Maintain and communicate an end-to-end perspective on projects throughout their product development.
  • Interpret impacts of product development or commercial change on the recommended regional comms plans.
  • Solve problems and dismantle roadblocks to ensure accurate, quality and timely execution of regional marketing communications plans, from strategy and planning through to individual tactics.
  • In collaboration with the Snr IMC Manager, maintain close, productive relationships with the global and regional Marketing Communications colleagues.
  • Balance disparate needs of different products, portfolios and countries.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience: 
  • Degree qualification in a Marketing, Communications, Technology or Business discipline.
  • Min. 5-7 years’ experience in marketing and/or communications.
  • Fluent in English, fluent (or highly proficient) to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates.
  • International experience and intercultural awareness.
  • 3+ years’ experience with medical and/or technology marketing is preferred.
  • Experience in digital marketing, including online channels in APAC region.
  • Experience in business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing (client or agency slide).
